BioLite set-out to design and develop a barbecue tool prep and packing set for our existing camp stove and grill products.
In the early-stages of developing this product, I served as Industrial Design support for exploring tool roll concepts. I executed a proportions study to determine the aspired size to appropriately match our existing fire pit product; a materials analysis to optimize flexibility, durability, and feel; and a prototyping study to ideate and down-select a concept before moving to manufacturing.
This project allowed me to exercise my brainstorming, concept development, and prototyping skills in a collaborative and fast-paced industry setting. Please see below for more images of the process.
